As the world prepares to go back to school and work in these uncertain times many people have concerns and questions about what to do to keep their workplace or school safe. An effective way to answer these questions is to create a COVID-19 Risk Management Plan.
A COVID-19 Risk Management Plan is a written document that outlines building specific procedures and controls that should be in place to help limit and stop the spread of COVID-19.

THE PLAN
The plan starts with an evaluation of the building(s) layout including the HVAC system. This is followed by written administrative control recommendations, such as maximum occupancy per room based on HVAC conditions and square footage. In areas where there is low marginal fresh air supply and/or poor air circulation, Omega will make engineering control recommendations. Omega can also provide on-going support for continued COVID-19 environmental monitoring. This would include COVID-19 air and surface sample and waste water sampling that helps predict community outbreaks.
